As a teacher, my students use a planner each day. It is an important and easy way for me to communicate both daily and upcoming work with parents, while placing the responsibility on children to write the information and then share with their parents.
You can use the daily planner and print several copies for children to fill out each day, and week and beyond. The resource also includes a blank monthly template for both Monday to Friday and Monday to Sunday.

The resource is very simplified and straightforward. This makes it appropriate for all ages and allows children to focus on recording important information. The lines are large for children to fit their printing and notes.
For younger children, printing the daily/weekly calendars are a great option. The daily sections are large and allow children to print important things on each line. Print several copies of the pages and prepare children for weeks, or months at a time.
The monthly calendars are also great to record upcoming events for each month. As a teacher, I liked to use the condensed, Monday to Friday template to focus on my plan for the week.
However, the monthly calendar is ideal for busy kids and families who also want to keep track of weekend activities and reminders, Monday – Sunday.
