The pages of the book include a variety of educational activities, including math and language based pages. The pages can be printed and cut to create a flipbook for kids to work on as they think about their family.
The booklet allows for any family structure to be represented and drawn and is perfect for preschool and kindergarten aged children.
The booklet is also available in black and white or color. You can print whichever one works best for you. The black and white is ideal to use less ink when printing and it also allows for children to color the pages of their booklet.
My Family Activity Book Printable
There are six pages in the booklet including the cover page. The resource also includes a page with instructions on how to put the book together. If you are creating the booklet for a group of kids, it can take a little bit of prep to complete, but it creates a beautiful booklet for kids to hold onto.
Make sure to print each of the pages, and cut where instructed. The pages also indicate where the pages are to be glued or stapled together.

The pages shouldn’t take a long time to complete, but they’re a great way to get kids talking and solving the questions.

I used this activity book with my kindergarten children as a way to help prepare them for grade 1. Working on sounding out words, counting and filling in spaces were key skills they benefited from.
